The Parish Council consists of elected and co-opted members who act on the behalf of Claypole residents. The council has a range of statutory responsibilities including the maintenance of the cemetery, playing fields, local roads and street lighting.  We aim to keep our parishioners informed and involved and we hope this website goes some way towards that aim.

A brand new bus service was launched on July 14th to serve Claypole. 'CallConnect' is a demand responsive bus which operates on a dial a bus basis.  Anyone can use CallConnect and the bus will operate from 7am - 7pm Monday to Saturday.  Concessionary bus passes will also be accepted. The Kesteven CallConnect service will be operated by a fully accessible minibus and bookings can be made up to 7 days ahead and on the same day with 2 hours notice. The service will provide direct journeys into Newark and connect at Caythorpe with the Interconnect 1 service to Grantham or Lincoln.  The bus can also be used for village to village journeys and will also serve Downtown Superstore and Belton House and Belton Garden Centre.
